Finding Meaningful Purpose in Your Career

Finding Meaningful Purpose in Your Career. Can you recall those work days when it feels like a grind, and seems overwhelming? We ask ourselves, “Why am I doing this?” When I’m faced with one of those days, I feel so fortunate to be able to answer with certainty, that “I’m doing this because I am contributing to our future female shining stars!” In the following story, I would like to introduce to you, three amazing young women, ready to take on the world, and make a mark for themselves in the future. In 2011 I joined the West Chester University community as an Adjunct Marketing Professor and since 2018 I’ve been the Director of The Cottrell Entrepreneurship Center.

Fresh Ideas for Her

On the Ninth Day of My Great Resignation, my decision gave to me, new beginnings and a blank canvas.   With childlike enthusiasm, I grabbed my watercolors from the art cabinet and sat down to discover what might bubble up for me with this new beginning. A bright and fresh look maybe? I am filled with wondered and excitement of how […]

Financial Conversations for Her

On the Eighth Day of my Great Resignation, my decision gave to me, the gift of creativity. For the past 23 years, I have devoted twelve to fifteen hours a week to intense, one-on-one financial conversations with my beloved clients.  During the pandemic, the frequency and content of those conversations increased and grew deeper. In addition to […]
