The ole’ budget. Some cringe when discussing budgets. A successful lady lawyer client once told me she believed “the devil lived in her budget and plays tricks”. Many disclose they wish they had learned finance at a younger age, and wish they could remove the ‘anxiety’ from the budget conversation. Does the word budget produce anxiety or a feeling of suffocation for you? How about safety and security? A little of both?

Cashflow refers to the net cash being transferred in and out of your company or personal household. Cash received is inflows, while money spent represents outflows. Our goal? To generate more inflows than outflows, that ultimately allow us more reserves (CASH), and future investment opportunities for financial independence.
